Does one size fit all? Evaluating the cross-cultural validity of constructs

  • Explore the cross-cultural comparability of the tests and scales from background questionnaires for pupils and their parents, teachers, and principals
  • Identify the degree of measurement invariance; apply confirmatory factor analyses and item response theory on TIMSS and PISA
