Children from workless backgrounds and the mediating role of parents

Isolate the effect of parents’ unemployment on school children’s educational performance using PISA 2003 and 2012 data
Supplementing findings from cross-sectional PISA data using panel data such as the Millennium Cohort Study
Analyse findings across and within countries in order to understand how educational policies mitigate the role of parent’s unemployment
